I would not expect to ever be able to learn how to make a plugin in a short 4 hours.
that being said a specific panel intended FOR developers about strides in plugin creation would be useful for plugin developers.
Which plugins – also the maybe DON’T INSTALL SO MANY stuff could be interesting.
hosting is important too understand.
I wouldn’t expect anyone to learn how to write a complex plugin in four hours either. But you can learn to write a simple plugin in as little as five minutes!
Quick example:
That is a plugin, that’s it, nothing else to it!
plugin development would be great. maybe something that just did an overview of built in WP functionality that isn’t used too often.
A WordPress and best CSS practices would be great.
It’s ALL about making and modifying themes for me.
When I went to WordCamp LA, that’s what I hoped to learn. While I learned a lot of great info, that’s what I was hungering for!
